For sale is a rare metal souvenir building of the Atomium, the theme building for the Brussels World's Fair of 1958.
What sets this one apart from a number of diffe
rent versions is the fact that it is to my know
ledge the smallest metal model made for the fair.
See the photo showing it among 4 larger models (not included in this sale and only shown for comparison sake).
It measures with its marble base: 2 3/8" high on a 2 1/4" wide triangular base.
It is in exc
ellent condition with a dark patina.
On one side is a metal inscription that reads:
Atomium Brussels 1958
.
The bottom retains its original label, see photos.
